Eryn Allen Kane has been impacting Chicago’s exciting music scene for quite some time while her solo releases are rare. If you are at all engaged in our hip hop community, you have heard her; perhaps performing back up for Chance at Lollapalooza, or on Saba’s ComfortZone for which her contribution to “Burnout” was called “hook of the year” by DJBooth who said “Since hearing Hollow in January, I have been eagerly awaiting more from her. Well, after 11,404,800 seconds (132 days) I finally got more. Kane handled the hook on “Burnout” from Chicago emcee Saba… boy was it worth the wait. Sweet. Baby. Jesus.” Today Complex premiered Eryn’s timely “Have Mercy” video directed by Austin Vesely. We get the opportunity to witness this charismatic artist soar with an urgent and pure message. :pray:
