Producer/engineer Drew Mantia steps forward with his own EP, THRIVE, released via Stank Face Records. It’s a refreshing listen and a pleasure to get acquainted with Drew’s range as an artist. The vibes are great, he features five vocalists including gorgeous singers kari, Cyn, and Ross Augusta, and rappers Bruce Bayne and longtime collaborator ProbCause. Chason assists with production on a of couple tracks. Drew explains that THRIVE was born out of a difficult time in his life, “I knew I had the determination and strength to survive. I quickly decided that I wanted more, not to simply survive but to THRIVE. Not the strength to be OK but the dedication to be better. This project “THRIVE” represents the growth, experimentation and excitement of this new phase of my life and career.” Drew is a dynamic musician who moves fluidly between both delicate and bold sounds, before this EP I knew him mostly through his production for Psalm One and ProbCause, who is outstanding on his THRIVE track with kari, “I Think I Need Ya.” Listen to Drew Mantia THRIVE.
