At a time when the entire country needs a bit of a pick-up, The Social Experiment does an excellent job of raising our spirits. The single, entitled “Sunday Candy” is the first single off of trumpet player Nico Segal’s (a.k.a. Donnie Trumpet) project entitled Surf. With Nico’s musical ability, the witty raps of Chance, and the musicianship of the rest of SoX (The Social Experiment), this track shines brighter than anything I’ve heard in a long time. Get ready for Surf, but more importantly, take this track as a moment to bask in how beautiful music can be – because it’s truly a testament to that.
