Easily my most favorite California-centric bands led by a frontwoman has to be Best Coast. Mixing sunny themes with typical indie starlet-ness (is that even remotely a word?), the band has expertly maneuvered their way through independent channels. Today, however, brings their major label debut “California Nights,” the lead single off of the album of the same name. Cheers.
