Bernie Levv’s The Golden Hour is coming soon. She premiered “Passing” her first visual from the project via The Source. Kez The Dude produced the upbeat single that showcases Bernie’s style beautifully, she’s in excellent form with sultry, delicate and soulful singing and her lyrics are lovely as well. The Verluxe visual was directed by Sofia Love-Hewitt and illustrates the many talents of Bernie Levv including her dance skills (with assistance from backup dancers Deja Miguest and Sophia Lawren), flare for fashion and that je ne sais quoi she’s got going on at all times. She’s one of my favorite young artists in Chicago and while waiting for The Golden Hour, I suggest revisiting her debut EP Signs. Don’t miss her performance at the Lyrical Ladies showcase at Schuba’s on August 5 alongside CYN, Homme, Sunnie Storrm, Mel and Kaina.
