It’s a rare and wonderful moment when hip-hop and fairly mainstream rock intersect, especially with two enigmatic artists like Alt-J and Big K.R.I.T. Today, the Leeds-based band brings us a new remix of their track “Every Other Freckle” featuring Mr. K.R.I.T. himself. While one would probably think that Alt-J’s unique vocal style wouldn’t work well with in-you-face rapping, this track is a true testament to the versatility of both parties, proving their prowess. Hopefully this isn’t the last we see from Alt-J in the realm of hip-hop, but until then, be sure to check out This Is All Yours, due out next week.
