Atlanta’s Awful Records has literally been 360 with the wrist since Makonnen sent the club up on a Tuesday late last year, but now we’re really starting to realize everyone involved with this label has talent. Yesterday, Pyramid Quince (a group under Awful Records) released their latest EP entirely produced by in-house Awful producer/engineer Dexter Dukarus. The project is playful but definitely dark, setting the vibe to ‘soundtrack for a robbery’ while Backwoods get passed around the backseat of the getaway vehicle. Very cool stuff and you should pay attention.
